I have a soft spot for 24-hour diners, so I’m not entirely embarrassed at how often I venture to the Castro to visit this place. Despite its location, it’s not populated by too much scary Castro trash, since methheads don’t eat. The servers tend to be friendly and hard-working and the prices are reasonable. Can get crowded at prime dinner time and at Hangover Dawn, but my preferred meal times and most weekdays it’s nice and easy. It also has a counter so it’s solo-friendly.
